Introduction to General Aviation (GA) Airports

When most people think about airports, they think about those which are serviced by major airlines. There are about 600 of these ‘scheduled service’ airports in the U.S. What most people do not realize, though, is that there are around 5,300 airports available for public use by general aviation aircraft. This means that no matter where you are leaving from or where you are going, there is likely to be an airport just minutes away. Take a look at the map of AirLinke accessible airports and find the one nearest you.
